ADDISON BUSINESS EXPO
Elizabeth Gustwick, CTM, Area 61 Governor, was very busy in August running a Toastmasters booth at the Business Expo and Trade Days show in
Addison. She and her crew of Siobhan Lydon, CTM; Joe Nave, ATM; Linda Pederson; Assistant Area 61 Governor Brian Shade, ATM-B; and Bunny
Summerlin set up, stocked, and manned the Town North Division TM booth.
Sample TM magazines, TMI organization information, public speaking tips,
and a Town North Division Club Contact List were available to passers-by. We expect several Town North Clubs will receive visitors and
new members as a result of the efforts of this team. Each club in Town North has been asked to make a small contribution to defray the costs of
this effort; if your club would like to contribute, please contact Elizabeth, at 972-242-5872.

Eugene H. Bock, Jr.

Toastmasters International is celebrating its 75th birthday. District 50 is celebrating that fact by presenting the 75th ANNIVERSARY CHALLENGE
and challenging 75 clubs to add 5 new members between August 01 and September 30. Any club willing to accept the challenge should contact

Ever wanted to be a new club mentor or sponsor? Don't know how? Just
like any other office or position in the organization, these positions require training.

OFFICER NEWS
The word from a recent District Officer meeting is that TMI has changed the official titles for Lieutenant Governors at the Division level or
below to Assistant Governors, SO: Carolyn Thomas, ATM, CL, is now the Assistant Division Governor of Education and Training for Town North
Division and Kim Dukes, CTM, is the Assistant Division Governor of
Marketing for Town North. The Division has recently added a new officer:
Area 64 Assistant Governor - Rana Killough.
